Sandbox Adventure

We make it a point every year that we try to travel somewhere or try some exciting things every summer break. So this year, after watching KrisTV, (I used all my skills in persuasion which is basically being irritating until they give up) we went to the newly opened Sandbox Adventure Park in Alviera, Porac, Pampanga.

Like all our many travels, we did little research about how to get to our destination because we believe it's part of the adventure. So far we haven't been lost in any forest filled with cannibalistic tribesmen or mugged in the outskirts of a city.

Because we are poor and noble people, we commuted which is almost two hours in total. The queue of people was already long when we got there and the heat of the sun was screaming Melanoma.

We were in pairs and took turns so someone can capture the moments. We created a strategy on what to do for the next hours so we could at least try everything. There were five (5) main attractions but we couldn't afford the ATV and Mini-ATV rides so we only managed four (4) and this is the order we did (1) Giant Swing (2) Adventure Tower (3) Avatar one and (4) Aerial Walk Challenge.

The Giant Swing was exhilarating and I think caught everyone's attention in the park as a I was screaming like a little girl.

We conquered next the Adventure Tower which is a 5-storey structure that consists of various activities such as rappelling, wall climbing, jump off for the free fall, jump off for the roller coaster zip line and the view deck.

I only had the guts to try the zip line and wall climbing, the free fall was too much for me to handle.

I'm a loud person when doing these things because this is where I can justify such acts without much judgment.

The Aerial Walk Challenge was our last because we felt it was the most strenuous part of the adventure.

Truth be told, the 10 minute challenge was very far from what we expected. It took us two whole hours to finish the whole thing (well there was traffic in fairness to us).

My advice to everyone who would love to try, drink lots of fluids, bring some crackers, patience and don't forget sunblock.

We hardly ate anything because the prices were steep but we made sure to drink lots of fluids.

After the whole day adventure we headed off to one of our favorite restaurant in Angeles City and rewarded ourselves with a nice hearty meal.
