Selfie Paradise: Art in Island (Interactive 3D Museum)

"We would like to remain the traces of our work to remember the procedure we've been through. Your happiness is our pleasure. We hope to continue to see the smile on your face..."

It does not take extensive marketing research to predict that Art in Island would gain popularity quickly considering we are a nation who love to take selfies. This place is a haven of selfie worthy backdrops and would drive a selfie addict mad in no time.

It is located  at 175 15th Ave., Brgy. Socorro, Cubao, Quezon City which is quite near Araneta Center. However, if you're easily lost in places like me, you can use the GPS of your phone or ride a cab(if the cab driver is not familiar with the place, say it is near Pag-Ibig). The place was teeming with people and a lot of patience of framing shots (at least for me) is necessary to get that perfect creative and crazy photo.

Ticket prices were P500 for adults and P400 for students, PWDs, and senior citizens. The museum is open from Tuesdays to Sundays between 9:30am-9:30pm. Before entering the galleries, you will be asked to take off your shoes to protect some of the artwork so be sure to wear decent socks.

The museum features more than 50 trick art (optical illusion) murals painted by Korean artists who were transported all the the way to the Philippines to create this interesting art gallery. Ranging from classic art, popular culture references and absurd art, the gallery makes use of the illusion of depth and perspective to create a larger than life backdrop for taking pictures.

It took me almost four hours to go pass the volume of people and have an opportunity to take my own set of photos on all the galleries.

Here are some of the samples I did and one of my friends said I ought to watch at least an episode of ANTM and learn from Tita Tyra.
