Cinemalaya 2015 Winners

The winners of the Cinemalaya 2015 Independent Film Festival and Competition (Short Films) as well as the finalists for the Full Length Feature Category for next year were announced at the Cinemalaya Awards Night last August 15, 2015 at the CCP Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino.



The victors for this year's short film competition from among the ten finalists were:
  1. Pusong Bato by Martika Ramirez Escobar - Best Short Film
  2. Petersen Vargas (Lisyun Qng Geografia) - Best Director
  3. Wawa by Angelie Mae Macalanda - Special Jury Prize and NETPAC Prize
  4. Darwin Novicio (Papetir) - Best Screenplay
  5. Sanctissima by Kenneth Dagatan - Audience Award


 Meanwhile, the Feature Films for Cinemalaya 2016 were announced and they were:
  1. Ang Bagong Pamilya ni Ponching (Inna Salazar, Victor Villanueva)
  2. Ang Mga Bisita ni Mamang (Janice O’Hara, Denise O’Hara)
  3. Dagsin (Atom Magadia)
  4. Hiblang Abo (Ralston Jover)
  5. I America (Ivan Andrew Payawal)
  6. Kusina (David Corpuz, Carmen Palomares)
  7. Lando at Bugoy (Vic Acedillo, Jr.)
  8. Mercury Is Mine (Jason Paul Laxamana)
  9. Pamilya Ordinaryo (Eduardo Roy, Jr.)
  10. Tuos (Derick Cabrido)
